Re: Turkish riots
I've used foreign websites to get the true news. Preferably liveleak, but it's violent and gruesome. It's not something I'd recommend watching if you're squeamish or bothered by seeing real people with their guts split out onto concrete.
Re: Turkish riots
Yeah, I don't partially want to see something like that. Seen a man murdered once, it was horrific.
Re: Turkish riots
I'd hardly trust an American news network these days. So much bias, and even CNN tried conducting a fake report where a reporter was supposedly at the site of some event when they were both in the same parking lot filming.

Media controlled by private networks are going to lie to make money. It's not about spreading news, it's about making money. Just like every other business in a capitalist society. The goal is to benefit one's self, not the nation as a whole.

Precisely why I don't trust it.

Re: Turkish riots
I support socialistic systems for reasons like that. It goes down to the same principles with healthcare. America has one of the worst first world health care systems because its privatized. We don't cure our patients, we go in to make them better for a short period of time and make sure they keep coming back.
Re: Turkish riots
Which is mainly why people are expecting another revolution. Another one will probably happen, if we continue along the road.

Re: Turkish riots
I would not be surprised if a revolution of some sort hit the United States anytime soon. With the way this nation is divided over so many issues, I'm not sure how long it will take until some belligerent fool starts another civil war.
Re: Turkish riots
Yoblack, when you go to the doctors, how long do you usually wait for an appointment? (Well, assuming there are schedules.)
Re: Turkish riots
The only problem for us, at least is that the fools will be the government for starting World War III or a revolution.

Re: Turkish riots
I depends on your injury. If it is big like massive loss of blood or broken bones etc, you get treated right away, anything that is less major you will have to wait for some time about 30 minutes depending on what time of night or day it is, like on a friday night it is extremely busy because people tend to go out drinking and do stupid things.
Re: Turkish riots
In the United States, many people have the misconception that with socialized medicine you have to wait at least a month to get your checkup finally scheduled. I've never seen any backing to these claims, but I'm going to begin quoting you on your information. I do hope you don't mind.

I was under the impression that we were already founded on imperialism.
Re: Turkish riots
Yeah what you've been told is wrong. When you go to the hospital to get your check up or what ever you are doing you will either get a subscription to take to a local pharmacy or the hospital will supply you with the medicine. It tends to be the more serious cases that receive it from the hospital. If you have been told that we have to wait a month to get our check up, its 100% wrong, you can organize a check up for any date you wish to choose and if it is okay with the hospital.
Re: Turkish riots
What do you mean imperialism? We're just spreading democracy and freedom to the rest of the world. The Filipinos were happy we came to free them.

I will have to use this valuable information the next time I argue with some moron on youtube about Socialized healthcare. Although, usually most youtube arguments lack any form of sources and credibility.

I'll assume this was pointed at me, since it seems likely that it is.
Basically, with the US beginning encirclement of China in the east with more fleet deployments and a new base in Austrailia, coupled by the takedown of any country producing petroleum or in OPEC, the US has gone on tons of streaks of provocation.
NATO-backed terrorism in Syria is looking at the aims of bringing Iran into the fighting. As everyone should know from news networks Iran is under sanctions by the US for supposedly creating nuclear weapons despite the fact they have not attacked a country since 1798. Syria and Iran have a mutual defense agreement pact, as does Israel and the United States. With Iran being the last independent oil-producing country in the Middle-East and going against the petrodollar, the airstrikes by Israel in Syria are marks of provocation to get Syria to declare war on Israel and bring Iran into the fighting. This will allow the United States, who have a pact with Israel, to get boots on the ground in Iran and topple the government.
Both Russia and China have made statements that any intervention by the United States will result in a declaration of war.
With North Korea and China, China is urging North Korea down from fighting because of the fact that everyone knows North Korea will fall without mercy, and allow the United States to have military bases right on the Chinese border.

Re: Turkish riots
To be honest, America have helped out with so many countries with what ever crisis they have had, even before you joined in world war one, you supplied weapons to the the British troops in your economic boom.

I was actually addressing morons on youtube who argue about socialized healthcare and like to talk about it taking forever.
Re: Turkish riots
Hm. That was rather unintelligent of me.
I still made some sort of point at least.
